YOUR PASSWORDS
Every password includes at least one character from each selected category.
Your passwords stay on your device.
Generation uses crypto.getRandomValues, the browser’s cryptographic random number generator. This site does not save passwords or send them to a server. No ads or analytics scripts are included.
Use a different password for every account and save it in a password manager. Copy uses your clipboard: take care on shared devices.
Some services limit symbols or length: adjust the options to their rules. Length alone does not guarantee account security.
How to generate a random password
Choose a length, select letters, numbers or symbols, then press Generate. The default is 20 characters with all four categories. Copy the result and save it in your password manager. Avoid reusing passwords across accounts.
Can I generate a password without symbols?
Yes. Uncheck Symbols and keep the character categories your service accepts. Longer passwords give more possible combinations when generated randomly.
What are ambiguous characters?
The exclusion option removes 0, O, I, l and 1, which can be difficult to tell apart. It is useful when you need to type a password manually.
Are my passwords stored?
No. Generated passwords only exist in this page’s memory and, if you copy them, your clipboard. Reloading the page generates new passwords. Your browser extensions and device security still matter.
